With our public lands getting more congested with off road vehicles, certain trails are now requiring some sort of ability to contain a mechanical failure. They are checking, and will turn you away or write you a ticket, if you are not prepared.
Honestly, with the amount of UTV's & Jeeps out there running these trails, the last thing we want to start seeing is oil spots that just got dirt kicked over it. These areas are meant to be enjoyed today and tomorrow.
Not being good custodians of our lands will just create more restrictions.
At least -
Some poly pads to soak up any oil or fuel.
Shop towels, all purpose pads to take care of coolant or other fluids.
A plastic bag to put used pads and or contaminated soil in.
Other things could include;
Gloves
Hand cleaner
Epoxy putty
Self-fusing silicone tape
